• Gastronomy: The mix between the Portuguese cultures with the indian habits gave origin to the “sertaneja” cuisine. One of the main delicacies of the cuisine of Paraíba is goat meat, rich in calories and strong flavor. The cassava flour is considered as an element as important in the table as bread, traditional side dish of all meals in the whole country. There are also delicacies like “paçoca”, “pé-de-moleque”, “tapioca” and recipes of green beans, “pirão de farinha de mandioca” and “rubacão” (made of rice, beans, meat and curdled cheese).

Trip Tips: João Pessoa is an alternative for those who wish to enjoy the sun and the wonderful beaches of the Northeast region, without paying a lot of money or facing the crowd of the neighbor destinations, which are more demanded. The Seixas Beach has, among other characteristics, a calm atmosphere and a gorgeous landscape, capable of enchanting any visitor. From “Cabo Branco Lighthouse” it’s possible to have an even better view of the coast side. It’s considered an obligatory stop for tourists.
