Summary:

Praia do Cassino is located adjacent to the city of Rio Grande, in the state of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. It is commonly known in Brazil as the longest beach in the world (approximately 254 km long), stretching from the Molhes (stone barrier built into the ocean separating the beach from the entrance to the Rio Grande seaport) in Cassino beach to nearly Chui, on the border with Uruguay.

Casino is an immense beach, marked by thousands of native and migratory birds and the surveillance of 4 lights: Sarita, Bends, Saddle and Chui. Replete of ponds that are connected with the sea and a great strip of dunes to lose of view, it is also known as "Cemetery of Ships". It has stagnated boats and remains of shipwrecks that, or they arrived a lot close to the beach, or they were caught for the violent winter storms.

Most of the immense Beach of the Casino still stays intact. Their sands continue being visited by penguins, lions and sea wolves that escape from the Antarctic winter.
